In order to use the favicon on your WordPress website, you need to follow these simple steps.
Step 1: Go to Appearance > Customize.
Step 2: Inside Customize tab you will see a sidebar on your left, then go to Site Identity.
Step 3: Inside Site Identity, you will see the Select site icon at the bottom. Click on that, select your image for favicon, click on Publish button at the top. Now your favicon is set.
